2022 Podest - Back to Reality [Scenography]
About
Podest is a design and art exhibition organised by M.A. Scenography and Communication students under artist and Prof. Nora Fuchs supervision. This year’s Podest exhibition, titled “Back to Reality,” shuttles back and forth between the analogue and digital realities by linking the two worlds. We posted out a “call for work” on campus and had over 200 responses. As a team, we have divided the work into categories based on one’s preferences.
Contribution
Besides the genral orgnaisation, I and Robin Heinmann collaborated on the sound scenography and technical aspects of this exhibition. Around the FH Dortmund campus, we have created 7 sound installations. In regard to the project’s principal concept, the sounds were designed to behave as auditory scenographic elements. They also acted as a symbol for guiding visitors around the many artworks and floors.
